Our Mission

Stewardship: What's in a Name?

When beginning Stewardship 35+ ago, we selected the name because we believe strongly that our name must reflect our values and that our work must also reflect those values. We seek to be good stewards of all that we have been entrusted with, in the service of others.

From our home base in Eugene, we have grown into a national presence with 12 partners in five states and over 700 properties. We have chosen to focus our work to respond to the national housing crisis by creating safe, secure and well managed housing that is especially affordable for those economically challenged. We are partnering with those who share our values and our desire to make a positive change in our communities.

Our Values

Being Good Stewards includes embracing the values of kindness, integrity, and service. Those values start with how we treat each other on our team and then, how our team treats our residents and those with which we do business.
