Stewardship development is vital to growing churches. Most often stewardship development involves planned giving campaigns to raise money for land acquisition, building construction or debt retirement.
This is best accomplished through the cultivation of lifestyle stewardship, a scriptural process that brings both personal growth for the individual Christian and financial resources for the church.
The focus is on the following three principles of stewardship:
1. All resources of the world belong to God.
2. The Christian has been entrusted to manage God’s wealth
3. Giving is an act of love, joy and worship.
